"Survival can be summed up in three words - never give up. That's the heart of it really. Just keep trying."

- Bear Grylls
This series was done for a class assignment were we were given the freedom to create anything we wished as long as it had people in the photo. Being a fan of The Walking Dead and living in Canada I've always thought it would be interesting to see how the show would be different if it took place in a colder environment. This inspired me to create this series of "The Walking Dead - North" images.

The first step to creating these images was choosing wardrobe and props. Using characters from the show as a reference these things were found pretty easily by searching through local army surplus stores, thrift stores and asking friends for anything they had that could help. The next step was to find locations which involved some location scouting. With the pre-production completed the next step was to shoot the images. All these images were shot on location using just one off-camera light. After some editing in photoshop these images were done.
